Meet Laura McKinley, LAc, MSOM, Dipl OM
A second-generation Coloradan, Laura first came to acupuncture as a patient seeking support in managing a repetitive strain injury. She was delighted to find that acupuncture not only provided her relief from pain and numbness, but also helped her manage her chronic allergies without pharmaceuticals.
Laura graduated summa cum laude with her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley in Berkeley, California in 2013. This program consisted of 3,200+ hours of classroom and clinical education. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc) in both Colorado and California and is nationally certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (Dipl OM).
As a practitioner, Laura champions her role as a facilitator, holding that disharmony in the body is best realigned from within. Laura supports her patients to rediscover their own innate healing abilities by guiding them gently towards their health goals. Laura is committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for each of her patients.
Outside of the clinic, Laura is usually riding about town on her bicycle, enjoying Denver’s tasty treats and green parks, hiking the nearby mountains, or snuggled up on her porch with a mug of warm tea, her book, and her pup.
Laura has been practicing acupuncture in her home state of Colorado since 2014.
